Hey everyone! I recently interviewed my good friend Jennifer W. who you may have heard of. Her blog, Art in Our Blood, is very popular, due to the fact that she is incurably stylish and talented!
Here's what she had to say:
What do you like to do or create?
I love fashion, whether it be creating new outfits or designing looks from scratch. I hope that one day I can be deserving of the opportunity to show at New York Fashion Week in the future!
What do you do for fun?
Working on my blog is what I do during my free time! It's time consuming to be honest, but I'm always happy to make new blog posts and it also feels great when people say that my outfits similarly inspired them!
What do you draw inspiration from?
I am inspired by characters, whether they come from literature, film, comics, mythology, fairytales etc. I love to model my outfits after their personalities or do my take on a more street-style esque version of their original costume designs!
How would you describe yourself?
I would describe myself as independent. I don't really like group projects and prefer to work on my own, especially when it involves creative work. I also prefer to spend time alone doing things like reading, sewing, drawing, blogging etc.
What are some things you believe in?
I believe that there are always ups and downs in life, but that you can always transform anything that doesn't go the way you want it to, into a learning experience.
What are you going to study in college/what career path will you pursue?
I will be studying Fashion Design at Parsons The New School for Design this fall! :) I hope to one day show at New York Fashion Week and eventually establish a brand under my name. I'd also like to become a professor and teach in the future on a subject of fashion, if I do become really successful!
I asked Jennifer to share some photos which showcased her style and creative work, and here is what she had to show us:
As mentioned above, you can always get more Jennifer at her blog.
This is the second installment in my Cool Person Series, the first of which you can view here if you missed it. Any thoughts about the series? I am personally really enjoying it, since it gives me an excuse to socialize with cool people and learn more about them. I'm always on the lookout for more people to interview, so if you're interested, please contact me!
I wanted to leave a little comment to support you and wish you a good continuation. Wishing you the best of luck for all your blogging efforts Wedding sarees
